SP0010 Hardness Pen

The TQC hardness testing pen SP0010 is a pocket sized hardness measuring instrument used to test the hardness and scratch performance of coatings, varnishes, plastics, or related products. Use a tungsten carbide needle to scratch the surface of the test sample under constant pressure, and then observe the scratch condition to evaluate the hardness or scratch resistance of the test sample. The pressure applied on the hardness testing pen can be changed by sliding or replacing the spring. The TQC hardness testing pen can be used for testing flat and curved templates.

The SP0010 hardness testing pen offers three optional springs:

1.0~3N， Scale of 10 grams; (Original color)

2.0~10N， Scale 50g; (Blue)

3.0~30N， Scale of 150 grams; red

The scale is laser engraved on the gray pen body, clearly visible. The diameter of tungsten carbide needles is 1 mm, and there are also needles with diameters of 0.75 mm and 0.5 mm available for purchase.
